About Us

power-384085_1280The PNG supports parents of children with special needs including children with IEP’s, 504’s, speech services, and learning differences through the exchange of ideas, resources, and pathways to effectively identify and advocate for accommodations or adaptations in curriculum to ensure children with learning differences can thrive in their school environment.

Believing knowledge is power, the PNG keeps current on relevant legislation and interacts with the school district through Chapter 14 meetings specifically for special education and has parent representation at SEAC, Special Education Advisory Committee meetings. We provide a network of support through our building representatives at each of the schools in our district. (list is being updated, check back soon).

Attending our monthly meetings provides a great opportunity to be involved in and knowledgeable about our children’s education. Our meetings are usually held on the second Friday of each month from 9:30-11:30am at the Baierl Center, Ponce Room, on the senior high school (NASH) campus. For specific dates see the programs page.
